Tekno Valves has been engaged in the design and manufacture of high pressure gas cylinder valves since 1971, and today is the leading manufacturer of cylinder valves in India.

As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Tekno Valves ships product around the globe to more than 65+ countries, serving the industrial, medical, and specialty gas markets. Tekno Valves has been granted the prestigious ‘π‘ mark in conformance to the stringent European Directive TPED 2010/35/EU, and designs and manufactures valves to meet appropriate standards including CGA, ISO, JIS, IS, BS, and AS. All valve designs marketed throughout the world are stringently tested through a German based, independent testing laboratory, BAM, in conformance with CGA V-9, ISO 10297, or country specific standard.

In 2005, Tekno Valves began the marketing and distribution of cylinder valves to the chlorine and SO2 packaging markets in North America. In pursuit of the compressed gas market outside of chlorine and SO2, Tekno Valves North America, Inc (TVNA) was formed in 2009 to grow existing market share and to secure a position in other applications within the industrial gas, medical gas, and specialty gas market segments. As an associate member of The Chlorine Institute, and members of the CGA and GAWDA, TVNA is active with compressed gas manufacturers, distributors, OEMs and recertification shops both technically and commercially. Tekno Valves participates as an associate member of AIIGMA, on the BIS technical committee HMD-16, and an active member of ISO’s WG-6 of ISO TC/58/SC2, providing expertise to the global gas industry.
